After 23 played minutes Kratusin got a freekick which was hit by Petr Frýba. Erich Kozlík scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Sucharda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sigma United's Alfred Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Frýba in the 36th minute of play. Alfred Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petr Frýba in the 38th minute of the match. Mesut Piatek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Josef Sucharda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mesut Piatek was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mesut Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sigma United's supporters rose to their feet, but Mesut Piatek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Sucharda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th of the match, Fedor Rokyta tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alfred Kicia got in the way and made a wonderful save. 69 minutes into the match, Mesut Piatek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Sucharda. Kratusin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mesut Piatek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Mesut Piatek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigma United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
