Osvald Velička charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvald Velička the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Brahma Nové Sady booed when TJ Jiskra Litomysl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Velička didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Štefan Bošek fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brahma Nové Sady's protests and gave Štefan Bošek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TJ Jiskra Litomysl booed when FC Brahma Nové Sady was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štefan Bošek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ondřej Výborný showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Štefan Bošek, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Štefan Bošek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ondřej Výborný. The goal made the score 1-0. Petr Fiala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Brahma Nové Sady's František Jiřík suffered a fractured collar bone after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Přemysl Pelán charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Přemysl Pelán the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TJ Jiskra Litomysl getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Přemysl Pelán hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karel Koutek got free with Ondřej Výborný in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Michal Kareš fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brahma Nové Sady's protests and gave Michal Kareš a yellow card for diving instead. Kazimír Kopáček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Brahma Nové Sady defense, Kazimír Kopáček kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vadim Houba. The FC Brahma Nové Sady fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vadim Houba should have stopped the shot. In the 31st match minute, FC Brahma Nové Sady was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Kareš to maneuver through the defense. Jan Šich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Petr Fiala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes FC Brahma Nové Sady got a freekick which was hit by Petr Štefek. Petr Fiala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vadim Houba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Brahma Nové Sady's Petr Štefek got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute TJ Jiskra Litomysl were awarded a corner. Jan Šich went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 46 minutes, Karel Koutek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brahma Nové Sady's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel Koutek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kazimír Kopáček to strike the kick off in the second half. Ondřej Výborný came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Brahma Nové Sady's Karel Koutek. But to his dismay, Karel Koutek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 59 minutes, Petr Štefek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brahma Nové Sady's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Štefek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karel Koutek succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. After a rather tough play, FC Brahma Nové Sady's Milan Augustin got a free kick in the 67th minute. Vadim Houba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petr Fiala in the 75th minute. TJ Jiskra Litomysl's Ondřej Výborný played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karel Koutek in the 80th minute of play. Karel Koutek scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ondřej Výborný, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Petr Fiala notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of FC Brahma Nové Sady's Vadim Houba. Vadim Houba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute Kazimír Kopáček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Houba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Brahma Nové Sady's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
