Slavomír Zeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleš Pavelek in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Dalimil Klíč managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Pavlovsko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalimil Klíč was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karel Hanek kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. FC Chroustov's Slavomír Zeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleš Pavelek in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nikita Fric managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chroustov's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikita Fric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdenek Slováček breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, FC Chroustov's goal looked a bit too open when Aleš Pavelek came free, but Slavomír Zeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavomír Zeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleš Pavelek's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, FC Chroustov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Voráč to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikita Fric got free with Zdenek Slováček in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikita Fric could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Zdenek Slováček made a huge save.
