Libor Drahovzal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimír Byrtus in the 8th minute of play. Vincent Panský kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Godesin booed when Semenec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Hamouz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miroslav Hnízdil came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Godesin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Hnízdil couldn't finish the play. Vladimír Byrtus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Libor Drahovzal having to interfere. Jaroslav Sajdl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ondřej Kulhavý in the 38th minute of play. Jaroslav Sajdl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoltán Hamouz in the 41st minute. Oldřich Švadlenka charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oldřich Švadlenka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Godesin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oldřich Švadlenka to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miroslav Hnízdil made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Vladimír Byrtus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godesin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimír Byrtus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semenec's Libor Drahovzal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Semenec from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimír Byrtus got free with Libor Drahovzal in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Hnízdil in the 58th minute of play forced Semenec's goalkeeper Libor Drahovzal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarolím Grof kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Semenec's Konrád Janecký tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Zoltán Hamouz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondřej Kulhavý in the 70th minute of play forced Godesin's goalkeeper Jaroslav Sajdl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Libor Drahovzal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Arpád Herzog sent off a good shot on target. Zoltán Hamouz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jaroslav Sajdl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Kozák kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Miroslav Hnízdil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Vladimír Byrtus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konrád Janecký kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Godesin's Vladimír Byrtus got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
