The audience thought a goal was coming when Miloš Viktora got free with Patrik Provazník in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Knezice's goalkeeper Patrik Provazník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Zoubek. In the 18th match minute, Knezice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukáš Fábera to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Zoubek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Patrik Provazník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Václav Plzák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Božetěch Kubr having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rastislav Martinovský to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Knezice booed when Protiwanow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Faltys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Božetěch Kubr was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Václav Plzák showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play.
