Pavel Hrazdíra made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ladislav Rigo sent off a good shot on target. Michail Molík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Ctibor got a freekick which was hit by Petr Hošek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonín Špatenka in the 24th minute of play forced Ctibor's goalkeeper Pavel Hrazdíra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ctibor's Pavel Hrazdíra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonín Špatenka in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Ctibor's Pavel Hrazdíra got control of the ball when Michail Molík tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Antonín Weis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ctibor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonín Weis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Branciky's Antonín Špatenka got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michal Piták sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Piták in the 48th minute of play forced Branciky's goalkeeper Samir Dufek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonín Špatenka was the one to do the kick off. Michal Piták received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Samir Dufek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonín Weis in the 62nd minute of play forced Branciky's goalkeeper Samir Dufek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antonín Špatenka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Piták got free with Samir Dufek in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Michal Piták came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ctibor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Piták couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Ctibor's Michal Piták sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samir Dufek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Antonín Špatenka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Hrazdíra was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Michail Molík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Hrazdíra having to interfere. Antonín Weis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Samir Dufek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Mutl kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Michail Molík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Michail Molík managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branciky's supporters rose to their feet, but Michail Molík was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Hrazdíra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
