Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Jankovský hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Valter Skála put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miroslav Křístek. Verner Hýsek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svatoslav Trubač in the 16th minute of play. Verner Hýsek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svatoslav Trubač, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Skála in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Křístek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaromír Opluštil hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Neschikau's zone, Svatoslav Trubač stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Verner Hýsek came out of the goal and Svatoslav Trubač tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Svatoslav Trubač managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niklesdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svatoslav Trubač was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boris Mirga's late challenge caught a Niklesdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Mirga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Boris Mirga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Niklesdorf's Albert Jankovský tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Svatoslav Trubač had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Verner Hýsek. Neschikau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svatoslav Trubač was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Miroslav Nevařil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valter Skála sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Neschikau's Valter Skála in the 45th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Miroslav Křístek was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Niklesdorf through an amazing save. Martin Myslík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Martin Myslík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jiří Matocha took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Verner Hýsek to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th minute, Jiří Matocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Filip Šípek fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neschikau's protests and gave Filip Šípek a yellow card for diving instead. Verner Hýsek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiří Matocha in the 88th minute of play. Neschikau's Valter Skála got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Niklesdorf's goalkeeper Miroslav Křístek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Martin Myslík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Niklesdorf had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
