In the 15th minute Jiří Jungwirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Číhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pavel Michek fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lite's protests and gave Pavel Michek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Kochanek booed when FC Lite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Michek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Číhal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Jungwirth in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jiří Jungwirth in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Číhal saved FC Lite from getting behind. Petr Konopásek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jiří Jungwirth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Číhal having to interfere. Tom Číhal made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Petr Konopásek sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Jiří Jungwirth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Číhal was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Kochanek had played much better football throughout.
