Petr Pojer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Petschek's Sebastian Kubů got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudolf Siegl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petr Pojer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Nestebice's Rudolf Siegl got control of the ball when Sebastian Kubů tried to sneak it across the goal line. Svatomír Zachoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Lhota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karel Kaláb came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Nestebice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karel Kaláb couldn't finish the play. If Petr Lhota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Petr Lhota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nestebice's supporters rose to their feet, but Petr Lhota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svatomír Zachoval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petr Lhota made a kick off. Rudolf Siegl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergej Cáb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Petr Lhota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Petr Lhota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Petr Lhota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svatomír Zachoval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Pojer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Siegl having to interfere. Sebastian Kubů sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petr Pojer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudolf Siegl having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petr Pojer in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolf Siegl saved Nestebice from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nestebice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Rudolf Siegl had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Harald Kuba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Rostislav Horsák was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nestebice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Petschek the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nestebice's Rostislav Horsák got a free kick in the 95th minute. Petr Pojer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Siegl having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
