A collision led to SK Rybnicna getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ruslan Lněnička hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Petr Hlavatý managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Rybnicna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Hlavatý was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Pýcha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludvík Bican hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hugo Pýcha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Dobrochov's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd minute, Josef Trnka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ctibor Kovařík was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Pýcha to make the kick off. When Petr Hlavatý came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SK Rybnicna fans jumped to their feet.
