Pavel Drbohlav's late challenge caught a Plesovec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Drbohlav helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Humwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Drbohlav to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lubomír Horňák during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Luděk Chmelíček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Plesovec's zone, Jan Kotlář stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Jeník came out of the goal and Jan Kotlář tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jindřich Fíla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rudolf Pleva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Stanislav Smitka made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Humwald's Rudolf Pleva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Kapusta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. David Jeník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexander Kapusta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oto Kanaloš kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rudolf Pleva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Smitka, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Jan Kotlář could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but David Jeník made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Stanislav Smitka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Pleva having to interfere. Josef Hess hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Alexander Kapusta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. David Jeník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislav Smitka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rudolf Pleva made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Humwald got a freekick which was hit by Václav Lamač. David Jeník stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Kotlář's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. David Jeník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Kapusta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Humwald got a freekick which was hit by Josef Hess. David Jeník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Kapusta in the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
