The referee ignored FC Velebudice's protests and gave Karel Šamko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Karel Šamko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Miroslav Sádlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lukáš Kroščen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vladimír Kopta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Bejdák, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Lukáš Kroščen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimír Rigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pecha in the 67th minute of play forced FC Velebudice's goalkeeper Vladimír Kopta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Velebudice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Velebudice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
