Petr Borek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimír Rigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Vladimír Rigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petr Borek. Vladimír Rigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Komberk getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Slávek Girga hit a great ball. Pavel Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jindřich Bucek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Komberk's supporters rose to their feet, but Jindřich Bucek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimír Kopta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Komberk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Chvojka to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Velebudice's zone, Jindřich Bucek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Kopta came out of the goal and Jindřich Bucek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karel Šamko during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Velebudice.
