Petr Borek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Bejdák in the 10th minute of the match. Jindřich Bucek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Lukáš Kroščen made a huge save. When Pavel Chvojka fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Komberk's protests and gave Pavel Chvojka a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Komberk's Pavel Chvojka got a free kick in the 42nd minute. It was beautiful to see Ziwohonscht's František Měrka in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Stanislav Bejdák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Borek having to interfere. The supporters of Ziwohonscht booed when Komberk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslav Hurtík didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Ritter made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Komberk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slávek Girga to maneuver through the defense. Stanislav Kuruc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Borek having to interfere. Pavel Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lukáš Kroščen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukáš Kroščen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jindřich Bucek, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindřich Bucek in the 79th minute of play forced Ziwohonscht's goalkeeper Lukáš Kroščen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ziwohonscht's zone, Pavel Ritter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukáš Kroščen came out of the goal and Pavel Ritter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
