David Šigut kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, František Macík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of František Kubelka. AC Opava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that František Macík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of AC Opava booed when FK Zahornice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Dvořák didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Přemysl Kiš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. František Macík took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised František Kubelka. František Kubelka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bohuš Hanousek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. František Kubelka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bohuš Hanousek came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FK Zahornice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bohuš Hanousek couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Michal Krejcar in the 33rd minute really tested Marek Fajfr's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 37 minutes into the match, FK Zahornice's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Kubáň came free, but Marek Fajfr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Hanzlík charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michal Hanzlík the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Opava getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. František Macík was the one to do the kick off. Bohuš Hanousek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but František Kubelka made a huge save.
