Vitalij Hudák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Skotnica in the 5th minute of the match. Sebastian Skotnica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitalij Hudák having to interfere. Vitalij Hudák made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Pleva in the 11th minute. Sebastian Skotnica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vitalij Hudák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Plevas short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Vitalij Hudák to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 18 minutes, Karel Bílek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gutwasser's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel Bílek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Karel Bílek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radislav Mazák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gutwasser fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Gutwasser's Luboš Nevrlý looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henrich Šustr hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Gutwasser's goalkeeper Vitalij Hudák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josef Pleva. In the 30th minute, Josef Pleva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitalij Hudák. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Beztahov's zone, Luboš Nevrlý stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radislav Mazák came out of the goal and Luboš Nevrlý tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radislav Mazák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luboš Nevrlý, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Josef Pleva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitalij Hudák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Šustr kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Beztahov's zone, Karel Bílek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radislav Mazák came out of the goal and Karel Bílek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Pleva got free with Vitalij Hudák in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karel Bílek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vitalij Hudák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Pleva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Beztahov got a freekick which was hit by Arnošt Bukáček. In the 58th minute of the match, Karel Bílek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radislav Mazák saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karel Bílek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Gutwasser's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Robert Huf hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Beztahov's Arnošt Bukáček got a free kick in the 79th minute. Luboš Nevrlý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luboš Nevrlý managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gutwasser's supporters rose to their feet, but Luboš Nevrlý was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radislav Mazák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Skotnica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
