After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ondřej Jandera managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Hradky's supporters rose to their feet, but Ondřej Jandera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitalij Kokeš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Václav Tvarůžek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vitalij Kokeš, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Jan Povolný left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pohlen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 18 minutes of play, Pohlen's Ferdinand Schindler made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Libor Vaňura was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Jan Povolný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Libor Vaňura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pohlen's Vitalij Kokeš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Václav Tvarůžek in the 30th minute of play. SK Hradky's Vítězslav Kolomazník got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ondřej Jandera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Václav Tvarůžek made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Václav Tvarůžek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitalij Kokeš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SK Hradky booed when Pohlen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radek Vidlák didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Václav Tvarůžek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Hradky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Václav Tvarůžek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitalij Kokeš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Václav Tvarůžek in the 66th minute of the match. Pohlen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakub Šída was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Václav Tvarůžek came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SK Hradky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Václav Tvarůžek couldn't finish the play. Václav Tvarůžek struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vitalij Kokeš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Hradky. After 90 played minutes SK Hradky got a freekick which was hit by Radan Zahrádka. SK Hradky's Libor Vaňura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SK Hradky from getting a goal against them. The SK Hradky supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pohlen's performance. The match ended with a win for Pohlen.
