The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Lazinov's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Neužil came free, but Václav Bukač reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Lazinov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Munzar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lazinov's zone, Michal Šeba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Václav Bukač came out of the goal and Michal Šeba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslav Neužil struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Václav Bukač didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morawan. 10 minutes into the game, Morawan's Miroslav Neužil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Václav Bukač made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Morawan's Max Plavec got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Pavel Munzar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazinov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Munzar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Lazinov got a freekick which was hit by Lukáš Čepela. Christian Strakoš was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Miroslav Neužil notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lazinov's Václav Bukač. Václav Bukač was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Morawan's zone, Dobroslav Tulach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. František Frič came out of the goal and Dobroslav Tulach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazinov's Dobroslav Tulach got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Dobroslav Tulach rounded Morawan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. A collision led to Morawan getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Michal Šeba hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dobroslav Tulach during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Lazinov got a freekick which was hit by Dobroslav Tulach. In the 39th minute, Klaus Šlapák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
In the 53rd minute Miroslav Tobiáš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Frič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. František Frič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Tobiáš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobroslav Tulach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. František Frič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dobroslav Tulach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lazinov's supporters rose to their feet, but Dobroslav Tulach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. František Frič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobroslav Tulach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Lazinov booed when Morawan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Plavec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomáš Sucharda missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the František Frič right hand side. In the 66th minute Dobroslav Tulach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Frič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Pomahač kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Lazinov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Šlapák to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Tobiáš's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but František Frič was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 77 played minutes Lazinov got a freekick which was hit by Petr Krupica. When Christian Strakoš fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morawan's protests and gave Christian Strakoš a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Strakoš hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Lazinov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Pešek to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Ivan Pavelec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michal Šeba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Václav Bukač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miroslav Neužil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Michal Šeba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morawan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Morawan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
