Erik Nohel was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Honice's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SK Honice's corner Erik Nohel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarmil Ondrušek quite easily take care of the ball. Jan Kozelský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslav Hudec in the 15th minute of play. Jan Kozelský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kubeček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SK Honice booed when sk roma melnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslav Hudec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Kozelský dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Jan Kubeček came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the sk roma melnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Kubeček couldn't finish the play. František Hubka kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Václav Plch, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 83 played minutes sk roma melnik got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Rous. Miroslav Rous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, SK Honice's Jan Kozelský got control of the ball when Miroslav Rous tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Maťátko might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Kozelský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Maťátko ran back to his position shaking his head. The SK Honice fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. sk roma melnik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
