Gründler Street Elite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsee the free kick. A collision led to Gründler Street Elite getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sven Lugg hit a great ball. Thomas Bäck hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonny Büto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Lugg in the 33rd minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Gründler Street Elite's Sven Lugg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Büto was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quintin Zinsli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gründler Street Elite's Sven Lugg got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Lugg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jonny Büto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Büto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Zinsli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Stephen Hunkeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Mattmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny Büto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintin Zinsli in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Chelsee's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven Lugg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven Lugg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jonny Büto made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Lugg got free with Jonny Büto in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonny Büto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thomas Bäck. After having played for 85 minutes, Sven Lugg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gründler Street Elite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Lugg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsee's zone, Sven Lugg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Büto came out of the goal and Sven Lugg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Quintin Zinsli came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gründler Street Elite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Zinsli couldn't finish the play.
