Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregor Foerster kicked off to start the match. FC Sion's Raphael Schneider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sion from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cimadera SC's Lucius Weissmuller got a free kick in the 8th minute. Gregor Foerster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Raphael Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Schneider made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Juerg Haag sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Sion getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sven Ambauen hit a great ball. FC Sion's Raphael Schneider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sion from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Bérard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Boeck in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Cimadera SC's Gregor Foerster dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Boeck made a kick off. Anders Wagner scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Schneider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carlos Boeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Sion's Raphael Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juerg Haag in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC Sion's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Wagner came free, but Raphael Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sven Ambauen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sion's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Ambauen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Bérard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cimadera SC's zone, Carlos Boeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Bérard came out of the goal and Carlos Boeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Boeck got free with Lorenzo Bérard in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Ambauen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lorenzo Bérard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sion. Simon Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Boeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cimadera SC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anders Wagner hit a great ball. Carlos Boeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Bérard having to make a save. FC Sion's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
