Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Rusch got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes, Pampigny FC's Timmy Böni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandros Aschwanden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pampigny FC reached it. After 6 played minutes Pampigny FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Lejeune. Clayton Verlengia made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Randolph Rusch sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Ponte's Jorge Rusch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clayton Verlengia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandros Aschwanden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pascal Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pampigny FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Aschwanden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandros Aschwanden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Pampigny FC's Pascal Couto in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponte's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute Jorge Rusch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Rusch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randolph Rusch struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Clayton Verlengia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte. Ponte's Titus Hellmann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clayton Verlengia but with some difficulty. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ponte's Randolph Rusch fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Randolph Rusch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Rusch in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Verlengia saved Pampigny FC from getting behind. Randolph Rusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Clayton Verlengia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Rusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Baldo Palorini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampigny FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldo Palorini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Baldo Palorini made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Pampigny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Wiss to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Jorge Rusch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clayton Verlengia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Cyrill Zingre came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ponte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrill Zingre couldn't finish the play. Jorge Rusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Clayton Verlengia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jorge Rusch came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ponte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Rusch couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ponte getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Matteo Gervoletti hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldo Palorini in the 73rd minute of play forced Ponte's goalkeeper Alexandros Aschwanden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Rusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Clayton Verlengia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascal Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Kim Andermatt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandros Aschwanden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jorge Rusch might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clayton Verlengia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Rusch ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
