Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christopher Nobs started the match with the kick off. Christian Bösch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Nobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Christopher Nobs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K.F GJILANI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Nobs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyen Rauber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heino Cadotsch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Heino Cadotsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyen Rauber in the 20th minute of play. Nguyen Rauber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Pat Spiller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyen Rauber in the 32nd minute of play forced K.F GJILANI's goalkeeper Heino Cadotsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Castione SC's Charles Jutzi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nguyen Rauber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Jutzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, K.F GJILANI's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nguyen Rauber fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ralph Vizioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bösch having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyen Rauber to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Jutzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerard Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bösch having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Charles Jutzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heino Cadotsch. K.F GJILANI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Jutzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Christopher Nobs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Bösch. That made the score 1-1 in the 77 minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Bob Frey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. K.F GJILANI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castione SC the free kick. Bob Frey hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, K.F GJILANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Schneider to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind K.F GJILANI's goalkeeper Heino Cadotsch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Castione SC got a corner. K.F GJILANI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Cimini ran over to the corner to take the kick. K.F GJILANI's Bob Frey pulled a muscle in his leg after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes, Eduardo Baumgartner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castione SC and the K.F GJILANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castione SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eduardo Baumgartner hit a great ball.
