Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jordano Hess got the match started through his kick off. Benedikt Jolidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Meister having to interfere. Hugo Meister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Jolidon in the 9th minute of the match. Curtis Barth's late challenge caught a Von Gattusen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curtis Barth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Ependes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curtis Barth to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Von Gattusen FC's Bastien Gilg threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jordano Hess, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedikt Jolidon in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Meister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Udo Leuthard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hugo Meister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Meister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Jolidon in the 38th minute of the match. Curtis Barth might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Meister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Curtis Barth ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedikt Jolidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedikt Jolidon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Von Gattusen FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stephen Eberhart fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benedikt Jolidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Von Gattusen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pietro Rutsch to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Meister stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedikt Jolidon's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Stephen Eberhart struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hugo Meister didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ependes. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Benedikt Jolidon put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Meister. If Benedikt Jolidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Von Gattusen FC's zone, Benedikt Jolidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Meister came out of the goal and Benedikt Jolidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Benedikt Jolidon sped through Von Gattusen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Meister. Udo Leuthard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Tjade Jordi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ependes's Philo Jardan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Bart Colloriti fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Von Gattusen FC's protests and gave Bart Colloriti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Von Gattusen FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bart Colloriti hit a great ball. Stephen Eberhart might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Meister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephen Eberhart ran back to his position shaking his head. Ependes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
