Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiner Domini in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Meister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heiner Domini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Meister having to interfere. Von Gattusen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Von Gattusen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Winiker came free, but Hugo Meister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renaud Winiker made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Renaud Winiker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Meister. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. After 56 minutes, Clint Grun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Von Gattusen FC and the Schnottwil players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordano Hess couldn't finish the play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Schnottwil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
