Tommy Betschart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amsoldingen. If Amos Seiler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timotheus Gagné made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Owen Rominger in the 21st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amsoldingen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Manchester Gais. Jud Stalder stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Timotheus Gagné. 0-2. Amsoldingen's Timotheus Gagné played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatol Beyer in the 27th minute of play. Owen Rominger scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timotheus Gagné, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timotheus Gagné made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vittorio Weiss in the 32nd minute of play. When Antonio von Planta fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amsoldingen's protests and gave Antonio von Planta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Antonio von Planta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Jud Stalder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timotheus Gagné showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Owen Rominger made a precise shot to the right of Timotheus Gagné. Amsoldingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 41st match minute, Amsoldingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio von Planta to maneuver through the defense. Timotheus Gagné showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Goetschi in the 45th minute of the match. When Manchester Gais's Germano Goetschi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amsoldingen's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amos Seiler to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Amsoldingen's goalkeeper Timotheus Gagné had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vittorio Weiss. Vittorio Weiss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Timotheus Gagné made a huge save. Antonio von Planta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Manchester Gais's Vittorio Weiss made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timotheus Gagné was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vittorio Weiss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Timotheus Gagné made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Per Gesch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amsoldingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Gesch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Betschart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vittorio Weiss got free with Timotheus Gagné in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timotheus Gagné took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Goetschi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timotheus Gagné showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Goetschi in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Manchester Gais's Vittorio Weiss ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timotheus Gagné. Timotheus Gagné yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Timotheus Gagné made an important save on a dangerous shot by Owen Rominger in the 88th minute. Antonio von Planta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Timotheus Gagné made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Goetschi in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Amsoldingen's Ivan Knechtli got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vittorio Weiss got free with Timotheus Gagné in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manchester Gais played a much better game than Amsoldingen and deserved their victory. The Amsoldingen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
