Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jimmy Bayer took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Per Gesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Newton Theissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gastonne Bürli in the 11th minute of play forced Amsoldingen's goalkeeper Timotheus Gagné to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Amsoldingen's Timotheus Gagné got control of the ball when Birger Bernet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerald Stockli charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald Stockli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Amsoldingen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gerald Stockli hit a great ball. Timotheus Gagné was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Julius Bürger. Timotheus Gagné showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conan Dresner, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Amsoldingen got a freekick which was hit by Gerald Stockli. 27 minutes into the match, Amsoldingen's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Dresner came free, but Timotheus Gagné reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timotheus Gagné was a little too slow when Conan Dresner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Amsoldingen's Timotheus Gagné proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Amsoldingen from getting a goal against them. Gastonne Bürli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Antonio von Planta fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amsoldingen's protests and gave Antonio von Planta a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conan Dresner was the one to do the kick off. Timotheus Gagné made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Bugnon in the 57th minute of play. Antonio Neeser made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ivan Knechtli sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Birger Bernet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timotheus Gagné saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amsoldingen's Timotheus Gagné played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Dresner in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Leutmerken HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Bürger to maneuver through the defense. Amos Seiler's late challenge caught a Leutmerken HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Seiler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leutmerken HC booed when Amsoldingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Seiler didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Bernet in the 74th minute of play forced Amsoldingen's goalkeeper Timotheus Gagné to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timotheus Gagné took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conan Dresner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timotheus Gagné showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conan Dresner, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Leutmerken HC's Kurt Bugnon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timotheus Gagné made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 91st minute, Amsoldingen's Poldi Leuenberger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Poldi Leuenberger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amsoldingen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Poldi Leuenberger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
