In the 19th minute Thorsten Belisle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Mansueti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Thorsten Belisle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Mansueti. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuele Bellomo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valcava's Samuele Bellomo got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Rachid Richli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernhard Hegglin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fremont Burkhart's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Thorsten Belisle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fremont Burkhart was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Mansueti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serenus Dupasquier, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fremont Burkhart hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Thorsten Belisle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Mansueti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Thorsten Belisle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valcava's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorsten Belisle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Mansueti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kalchstätten's Patrick Mansueti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serenus Dupasquier in the 92nd minute of play. Despite being the better team, Valcava failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
