Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Keller took the kick off in the first half of the match. The nice shot from Thomas Simmen in the 5thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Erasmus Bayer had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 7th minute, Flo Dalmedico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Homburg's goalkeeper Erasmus Bayer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Simmen. Leo Keller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Gaspari in the 25th minute of play forced Rüeschegg SC's goalkeeper Joe Angelici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Vincent Gaspari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Homburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Gaspari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joe Angelici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Gaspari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rüeschegg SC's Luciano Hofer got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Vincent Gaspari came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Homburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Gaspari couldn't finish the play. Rüeschegg SC's Baldo Villiger got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmus Bayer having to interfere. Erasmus Bayer stood somewhat misplaced when Leo Keller came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Erasmus Bayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Keller in the 41st minute of play. Vincent Gaspari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Angelici having to interfere. Erasmus Bayer was a little too slow when Leo Keller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 49th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Gaspari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Homburg's Raimund Bianco got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Mikael Baum sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmus Bayer skillfully saved the ball. Leo Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmus Bayer having to interfere. Leo Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Erasmus Bayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Simmen might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmus Bayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Simmen ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmus Bayer having to interfere. A collision led to Homburg getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jacky Obrist hit a great ball. Leo Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Erasmus Bayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thomas Simmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldo Villiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmus Bayer having to interfere. Vincent Gaspari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Angelici having to interfere. Flo Dalmedico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rüeschegg SC booed when Homburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacky Obrist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Simmen in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmus Bayer saved Homburg from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Leo Keller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmus Bayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Erasmus Bayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Rüeschegg SC's Mikael Baum seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mikael Baum the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rüeschegg SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mikael Baum had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rüeschegg SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Joe Angelici had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jacky Obrist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Rüeschegg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Gaspari came free, but Joe Angelici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmus Bayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Simmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Homburg's goalkeeper Erasmus Bayer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rüeschegg SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
