Theodor Meili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimir Rothschild, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Renato Urner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Renato Urner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bayern München's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Urner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davide Stauber hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Urner in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Suter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uwe Suter was a little too slow when Dirk Lucchesi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Evionnaz's zone, Renato Urner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Suter came out of the goal and Renato Urner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodor Meili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elroy Pollastrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Steffen Kaiser notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Bayern München's Theodor Meili. Theodor Meili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dirk Lucchesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Urner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Davide Stauber came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Bayern München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Stauber couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Urner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Justus Bolla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Lucchesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodor Meili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimir Rothschild in the 61st minute of play. Steffen Kaiser took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theodor Meili. Theodor Meili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Evionnaz's Justus Bolla got a free kick in the 87th minute. Basilius Berger made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bayern München's Gilbert Gärtner. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Evionnaz's goalkeeper Uwe Suter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, FC Bayern München's Davide Stauber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uwe Suter narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
