Matteo Gloeckner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Gampel's Matteo Gloeckner got control of the ball when Riccardo Troxler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marin Weniger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Farid Merz's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Kappel in the 49th minute of play forced Ausserdinhard HC's goalkeeper Marin Weniger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Matteo Gloeckner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riccardo Troxler, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Bert Kappel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ausserdinhard HC's Marin Weniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Kappel in the 59th minute of play. If Riccardo Troxler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrett von Arb hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jeremias Troxler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Gloeckner having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Jesko Baldini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gampel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ausserdinhard HC the free kick. In the 67th minute, Jesko Baldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jeremias Troxler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ausserdinhard HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Troxler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matteo Gloeckner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarrett von Arb kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riccardo Troxler in the 84th minute of play forced Gampel's goalkeeper Matteo Gloeckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes, Bert Kappel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gampel and the Ausserdinhard HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Gampel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Kappel to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Riccardo Troxler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matteo Gloeckner was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Ausserdinhard HC's Alonzo Fellmann got a free kick in the 97th minute. Bert Kappel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Weniger having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ausserdinhard HC had won after a very even match.
