Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Misox HC's Peder Sibenthal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Misox HC's Guy Grünenwald got control of the ball when Vittorio Grondin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute, Vittore Rotzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Vittore Rotzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Grünenwald was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Alexandre Scheupach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vittore Rotzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vittore Rotzer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Guy Grünenwald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vittore Rotzer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Guy Grünenwald 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Vittore Rotzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boltigen HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vittore Rotzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Grünenwald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordano Verplanken kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Vittore Rotzer, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Boltigen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Jehle came free, but Gerard Oderholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Jehle fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 33rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Peder Sibenthal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Oderholz having to interfere. Vittorio Grondin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Grünenwald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Misox HC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Breitenstein. 45 minutes in the game, Vittore Rotzer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guy Grünenwald having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vittore Rotzer to strike the kick off in the second half. Vittore Rotzer took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Grünenwald. Guy Grünenwald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Sibenthal got free with Gerard Oderholz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guy Grünenwald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vittore Rotzer went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Guy Grünenwald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vittorio Grondin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alexandre Scheupach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guy Grünenwald having to make a save. If Alexandre Scheupach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Misox HC's Jordano Verplanken got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Vittore Rotzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misox HC's Guy Grünenwald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boltigen HC's goalkeeper Gerard Oderholz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Eduardo Breitenstein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misox HC and the Boltigen HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Misox HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Breitenstein to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vittore Rotzer in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Grünenwald saved Misox HC from getting behind. 94 minutes into the game, Peder Sibenthal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerard Oderholz. Peder Sibenthal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Boltigen HC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
