With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgio Waldburger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isaiah Murer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Arter struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Marco Theiss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giubiasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gernet in the 12th minute of play forced Celerina HC's goalkeeper Marco Theiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niels Jardan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Marco Theiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Gernet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Giubiasco booed when Celerina HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels Jardan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Celerina HC's Marco Theiss got control of the ball when Sidney Arter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celerina HC's Marco Theiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gernet in the 27th minute of play. Sidney Arter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Sidney Arter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giubiasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Arter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The supporters of Celerina HC booed when Giubiasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Kurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Gerard Ottenin-Girard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Miguel Gernet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Theiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Gernet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Celerina HC's Niels Jardan got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Sidney Arter came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Giubiasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Arter couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Giubiasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswin Bruder to maneuver through the defense. When Celerina HC's Jvo Genazzi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Giubiasco's goalie prevented a goal. Jvo Genazzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Giorgio Waldburger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
