Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Weissbad's Hercules Fries started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hercules Fries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alain Roten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes in the game, Mick Baertschi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alain Roten having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Blatten got a freekick which was hit by Niklaus Belisle. Carlo Beckenbauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylvain Ringeli charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylvain Ringeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Sylvain Ringeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Weissbad getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daniele Tschupp hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Robin Faieta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germain Bürgi skillfully saved the ball. After 29 played minutes Weissbad got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Ringeli. After 32 minutes of play, Blatten's Julien Boller made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germain Bürgi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mick Baertschi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alain Roten made a huge save. The supporters of Weissbad booed when Blatten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Sommer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hercules Fries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Roten having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 58 played minutes Blatten got a freekick which was hit by Florian Haefeli. Sylvain Ringeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylvain Ringeli kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 76th play minutes Julien Boller shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Germain Bürgi and just under the crossbar into goal. If Carlo Beckenbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Beckenbauer in the 81st minute of play forced Weissbad's goalkeeper Germain Bürgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Weissbad's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Beckenbauer came free, but Germain Bürgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Beckenbauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Beckenbauer in the 90th minute of play forced Weissbad's goalkeeper Germain Bürgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Hercules Fries managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weissbad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hercules Fries was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlo Beckenbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blatten eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
