Danis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Beckenbauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Franco Locher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moritz Hirter took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alain Roten. Alain Roten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Franco Locher charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Locher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Danis's Franco Locher got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Florian Haefeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Silvain Durr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alain Roten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvain Durr's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Blatten's goalkeeper Alain Roten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moritz Hirter. Silvain Durr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alain Roten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Blatten's Alain Roten got control of the ball when Moritz Hirter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvain Durr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Roten having to interfere. If Moritz Hirter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38th play minutes Silvain Durr shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Alain Roten and just under the crossbar into goal. Julien Boller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kristian Rausis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Danis booed when Blatten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Sommer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moritz Hirter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Silvain Durr made the kick off in the second half. During the 56th minute of the match Franco Locher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Franco Locher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Blatten booed when Danis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Locher didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvain Durr fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Danis's protests and gave Silvain Durr a yellow card for diving instead. Silvain Durr hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Danis booed when Blatten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Eisenhauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Danis's Marco Bachelard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Danis fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Danis's Moritz Hirter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 72 minutes, Carlo Beckenbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blatten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Beckenbauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristian Rausis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julien Boller in the 75th minute. Clarence Ziegler hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Benedict Marthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedict Marthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Moritz Hirter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danis's supporters rose to their feet, but Moritz Hirter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alain Roten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Moritz Hirter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Roten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moritz Hirter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Roten having to interfere. When Moritz Hirter came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Danis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moritz Hirter couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Danis were the better team. Danis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
