Kain Unternährer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Monney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kain Unternährer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Winkeln's Kain Unternährer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Monney in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Winkeln getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Silvan Bussmann hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Begnins FC's Gilberto Schweizer tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kain Unternährer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remo Siegenthaler in the 59th minute. When Till Berger fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winkeln's protests and gave Till Berger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Winkeln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Till Berger to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Monney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolai Geuken in the 88th minute of play forced Begnins FC's goalkeeper Cedric Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Winkeln's Emiliano Althaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Aberle narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
