Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cyril Dreher started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cyril Dreher took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adriano Soltermann to make any attempt to save it. Cimadera HC's Simone Waechter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Koch in the 11th minute of play. Jonas Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Intschi's goalkeeper Adriano Soltermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Dreher in the 24th minute of play forced Intschi's goalkeeper Adriano Soltermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cimadera HC's Michel Mottolese got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cyril Dreher struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Adriano Soltermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimadera HC. Simone Waechter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torin Ammann in the 31st minute of play. If Jonas Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 minutes of play, Intschi's Torin Ammann made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simone Waechter was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Torin Ammann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Koch was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Torin Ammann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intschi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torin Ammann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Cyril Dreher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Soltermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Mottolese in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Mottolese in the 65th minute of play forced Intschi's goalkeeper Adriano Soltermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, one of Intschi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Intschi:s Adriano Soltermann showed great skill when he stopped Luis Restaino:s penalty. When Gautier Freeh came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Cimadera HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gautier Freeh couldn't finish the play. Adriano Soltermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyril Dreher in the 82nd minute of play. Simone Waechter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Koch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 84 minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Torin Ammann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intschi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torin Ammann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Jonas Koch made a precise shot to the right of Simone Waechter. Cimadera HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jonas Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intschi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Koch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simone Waechter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Intschi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
