The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pardatsch AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robby Pfändler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Robby Pfändler put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hampton Gugolz. Alain Bleyer scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hampton Gugolz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Alois Pernhardt managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Alpnach HC's Aldo Gygax fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claude Mehrtens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alois Pernhardt having to interfere. Claude Mehrtens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robby Pfändler to strike the kick off in the second half. Hampton Gugolz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alain Bleyer sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robby Pfändler in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hampton Gugolz saved Alpnach HC from getting behind. Hampton Gugolz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Pfändler in the 68th minute of play. Alois Pernhardt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Gygax's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Alois Pernhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Mehrtens in the 75th minute of play. Alain Bleyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampton Gugolz having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Pardatsch AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heino Bisang to maneuver through the defense. Claude Mehrtens charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claude Mehrtens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alois Pernhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Gygax in the 84th minute of play. Alain Bleyer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Hampton Gugolz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aldo Gygax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alois Pernhardt having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pardatsch AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
