Alpnach HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schattdorf SC the free kick. Claude Mehrtens kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jannik Dresdner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Hampton Gugolz made a huge save. Claude Mehrtens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Etienne De Col's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clas Dubs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Dave Huber hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Clas Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Mehrtens, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Aldo Gygax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schattdorf SC's Clas Dubs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Mehrtens in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Alpnach HC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aldo Gygax hit a great ball. Alfonso Brugger charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Brugger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Alpnach HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Brugger to maneuver through the defense. Raimondo Lapierre kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Jannik Dresdner came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Schattdorf SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jannik Dresdner couldn't finish the play. Schattdorf SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Witzig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpnach HC's goalkeeper Hampton Gugolz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Claude Mehrtens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schattdorf SC's Clas Dubs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Graf kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Alpnach HC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
