The penalty shot was made by Hannes Plouffe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zuchwil HC's Augustin Bourgouin. 0-1. Augustin Bourgouin came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ennetegg SC's Gilbert Bader. But to his dismay, Gilbert Bader quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rodrigo Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Felix Beich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Bourgouin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Arsenault in the 16th minute of the match. Rodrigo Bayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Bader's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustin Bourgouin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Augustin Bourgouin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Bader in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Ennetegg SC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. William Bouchard hit a great ball. Zuchwil HC's Niklaus Högger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felix Beich but with some difficulty. In the 35thth minute of the game Willi Arsenault who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuchwil HC's Augustin Bourgouin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Willi Arsenault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Bourgouin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Willi Arsenault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zuchwil HC's zone, Gilbert Bader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Bourgouin came out of the goal and Gilbert Bader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Bader in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augustin Bourgouin saved Zuchwil HC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Bayer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Beich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Bayer went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Zuchwil HC's goalkeeper Augustin Bourgouin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willi Arsenault. With an all-out effort, Ennetegg SC's Augustin Bourgouin threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilbert Bader, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 63 minutes, Andreas Trinkl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ennetegg SC and the Zuchwil HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Ennetegg SC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Trinkl. Rodrigo Bayer struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Felix Beich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuchwil HC. If Gilbert Bader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willi Arsenault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Augustin Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Ennetegg SC's Willi Arsenault nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Bourgouin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 77 minutes into the game, Didier Probst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ennetegg SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuchwil HC the free kick. A collision led to Ennetegg SC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Didier Probst hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Zuchwil HC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bader came free, but Augustin Bourgouin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Elmar Unger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Beich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zuchwil HC's Elmar Unger in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ennetegg SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute Elmar Unger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Beich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Ennetegg SC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Wechsler. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ennetegg SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
