Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Khalid Stockli kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Dominic Salvatei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dizy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuchwil HC the free kick. Dizy's Enrique Briard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Unger in the 9th minute of play. Enrique Briard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bayer in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Zuchwil HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baruch Behr to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Schilling kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot by Ludovic Kuster from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Augustin Bourgouin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th match minute, Zuchwil HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etienne Stierli to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dizy getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Edgar Conti hit a great ball. Augustin Bourgouin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Stockli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Huerlimann in the 37th minute of play forced Zuchwil HC's goalkeeper Augustin Bourgouin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dizy's Enrique Briard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Bayer in the 45th minute of play. Elmar Unger took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Briard. Enrique Briard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Bayer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Geoff Huerlimann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Bourgouin. Zuchwil HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geoff Huerlimann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 57 minutes into the match, Zuchwil HC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Huerlimann came free, but Augustin Bourgouin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoff Huerlimann struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Augustin Bourgouin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dizy. If Geoff Huerlimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zuchwil HC's zone, Geoff Huerlimann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Bourgouin came out of the goal and Geoff Huerlimann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Stockli in the 83rd minute of play forced Zuchwil HC's goalkeeper Augustin Bourgouin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elmar Unger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoff Huerlimann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Augustin Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Bourgouin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Stockli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Briard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bayer in the 97th minute of play. Dizy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
