Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Halen HC's Hasso Niederhauser started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Halen HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Gabriel to maneuver through the defense. Curt Trasatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Curt Trasatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Unger in the 9th minute of play. Rodrigo Bayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Halen HC booed when Zuchwil HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Bayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curt Trasatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Unger in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Halen HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niklaus Högger was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuchwil HC's players had a chance to rest. Rodrigo Bayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 28 minutes, Elmar Unger made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Halen HC's Curt Trasatti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Schilling hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Nicholas Marbach came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Halen HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Marbach couldn't finish the play. If Hasso Niederhauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Zuchwil HC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Bayer made the kick off in the second half. When Nicholas Marbach fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halen HC's protests and gave Nicholas Marbach a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Zuchwil HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Schilling to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Rodrigo Bayer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Curt Trasatti. The goal made the score 0-4. Curt Trasatti had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Rodrigo Bayer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Elmar Unger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Trasatti having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Miklos Ferber made a precise shot to the right of Augustin Bourgouin. Zuchwil HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Rodrigo Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Curt Trasatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hasso Niederhauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Bourgouin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklos Ferber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baruch Behr kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Zuchwil HC's goal looked a bit too open when Hasso Niederhauser came free, but Augustin Bourgouin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmar Unger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Curt Trasatti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hasso Niederhauser kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
