After a defensive mix-up in Münsingen HC's zone, Clas Stauber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Schweitzer came out of the goal and Clas Stauber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Münsingen HC were furious when Gilles Capoccitti was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Realta a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Forrester Muri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Münsingen HC's Ivan Schweitzer. 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Erik Frei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Münsingen HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Frei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Münsingen HC's Erik Frei in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Realta's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Dreher's late challenge caught a Realta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Dreher helped the player get up and apologised. Cäsar Unger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Schweitzer having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Erik Frei made the kick off in the second half. Realta's Toni Gräf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Realta from getting a goal against them. Erik Frei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toni Gräf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Münsingen HC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aldo Kernen hit a great ball. Realta's Clas Stauber got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Frei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Toni Gräf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Caron charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Caron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Caron hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Toni Gräf made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Carlos Dreher sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Hugo Traugott had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Realta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
