A collision led to Sursee SC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marlon Baraglia hit a great ball. Erik Frei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Fiorita having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sursee SC's Ronan Mela got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sursee SC's zone, Erik Frei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Fiorita came out of the goal and Erik Frei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Frei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rodrigo Fiorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Mazzolimo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Erik Frei in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodrigo Fiorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erik Frei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Fiorita having to interfere. When Christophe Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sursee SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christophe Gerber couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Christophe Gerber made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Christophe Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Schweitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sursee SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ronan Mela hit a great ball. Erik Frei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sursee SC's Rodrigo Fiorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Frei in the 67th minute of play. Marlon Baraglia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Christophe Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sursee SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christophe Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Münsingen HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Gordy Zangger scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Schweitzer, making the score, 1-1. Gordy Zangger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ivan Schweitzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Münsingen HC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Carlos Dreher hit a great ball. Pierre Franceschini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. The Sursee SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Münsingen HC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
