Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Schatzalp AC's Giacomo Amiel got a free kick in the 6th minute. Curtis Gerig, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lütschental HC's zone, Boris Bachmeier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerely Scheuber came out of the goal and Boris Bachmeier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolf Simmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jerely Scheuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Simmen in the 23rd minute of play forced Lütschental HC's goalkeeper Jerely Scheuber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Schatzalp AC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Belisle came free, but Rainer Basciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Belisle had several of the Schatzalp AC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rainer Basciano as he didn't even see the shot coming. 34 minutes in the game, Luis Beller fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rainer Basciano having to interfere. A collision led to Lütschental HC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Renatus Howald hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Rolf Simmen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerely Scheuber. Lütschental HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Simmen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rainer Basciano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enea Aregger. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolf Simmen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Simmen in the 52nd minute of play forced Lütschental HC's goalkeeper Jerely Scheuber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Beller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Bachmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jerely Scheuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rolf Simmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schatzalp AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Simmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerely Scheuber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Boris Bachmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregor Fridli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rainer Basciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rainer Basciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Beller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Bachmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jerely Scheuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giacomo Amiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Boris Bachmeier came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Schatzalp AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Bachmeier couldn't finish the play. Jerely Scheuber was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Rolf Simmen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rolf Simmen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Schatzalp AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Schatzalp AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
