Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andor De la Cruz started the match with the kick off. Thoralf Schiffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hamlet Grossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thoralf Schiffer came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alterswilen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thoralf Schiffer couldn't finish the play. If Thoralf Schiffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Alterswilen's Michel Foerster got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Alterswilen got a freekick which was hit by Luc Wermuth. Andor De la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bragger having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, one of Alterswilen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Oberiberg's Quint Faoccia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armin Bragger. In the 24th minute, Oberiberg's Andor De la Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 37th match minute, Oberiberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Hengemühl to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matteo Kiener in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamlet Grossi saved Oberiberg from getting behind. If Fabius Giguère had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederick Hager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Armin Bragger made a huge save. Andor De la Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Armin Bragger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Alterswilen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Merlin Arsenault hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Alterswilen's Hamlet Grossi threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thoralf Schiffer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frederick Hager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oberiberg's Hamlet Grossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thoralf Schiffer in the 63rd minute of play. Alterswilen's Thoralf Schiffer got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andor De la Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederick Hager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Armin Bragger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederick Hager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Bragger having to interfere. If Andor De la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matteo Kiener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hamlet Grossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Alterswilen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc Wermuth to maneuver through the defense. Armin Bragger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederick Hager in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Andor De la Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Bragger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamlet Grossi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Matteo Kiener sent off a good shot on target. After 88 minutes, Dario Bargherr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alterswilen and the Oberiberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oberiberg booed when Alterswilen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Bargherr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Bragger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Hager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alterswilen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
