Frederick Hager might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Geisseler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederick Hager ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Geisseler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andor De la Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Oberiberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabius Giguère to maneuver through the defense. Andor De la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andor De la Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andor De la Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josef Geisseler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andor De la Cruz in the 28th minute of play. When Andor De la Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Oberiberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andor De la Cruz couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Oberiberg's Frederick Hager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Geisseler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Nielispach made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Nicolas Lafranchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onnens FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Lafranchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Onnens FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andor De la Cruz came free, but Josef Geisseler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andor De la Cruz in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Geisseler saved Onnens FC from getting behind. When Georg Petrova fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onnens FC's protests and gave Georg Petrova a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Onnens FC got a freekick which was hit by Georg Petrova. After having played for 61 minutes, Andor De la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberiberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andor De la Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Frederick Hager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Geisseler was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Hamlet Grossi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulf Nielispach showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
