Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusebius Iacovone took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matthew Pierucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferden's Niklaus Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn De la Cruz in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Schlieren got a corner. Ferden's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ischy Brand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matthew Pierucci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Niklaus Berger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ferden's Philo Espirito got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Jay Stante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odysseus Hammer was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Matthew Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Niklaus Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn De la Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niklaus Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn De la Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Matthew Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Pierucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklaus Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn De la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Matthew Pierucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklaus Berger having to interfere. Matthew Pieruccis short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Niklaus Berger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Ferden's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn De la Cruz came free, but Niklaus Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthew Pierucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Niklaus Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebius Iacovone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseus Hammer having to interfere. The supporters of Schlieren booed when Ferden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philo Espirito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn De la Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Schlieren's Fabrice Hüsler got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ferden's Niklaus Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn De la Cruz in the 68th minute of play. Niklaus Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn De la Cruz in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ferden's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Pierucci came free, but Niklaus Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Jerome Joho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schlieren the free kick. The referee gave Schlieren a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ischy Brand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ferden's Niklaus Berger. 2-0. Niklaus Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Pierucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Schlieren's Ischy Brand got a free kick in the 94th minute. 98 minutes into the game, Schlieren's Glenn De la Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niklaus Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Schlieren players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
