In the 18th match minute, Schlieren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrice Hüsler to maneuver through the defense. Pietro Zoller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Pierucci struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alonzo Hellmüller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schlieren. After a rather tough play, Monkey Gang's Joseph Lehmann got a free kick in the 28th minute. Schlieren's Ischy Brand suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pietro Zoller made a kick off. After 62 minutes of play, Schlieren's Matthew Pierucci made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Hellmüller was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Matthew Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pietro Zoller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Schlieren getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lucien Ebersbach hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Monkey Gang's Jesaja Mazuret broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pietro Zoller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Schlieren's Odysseus Hammer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Zoller in the 80th minute of play. Matthew Pierucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Hellmüller having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Schlieren's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Zoller came free, but Odysseus Hammer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Monkey Gang's zone, Matthew Pierucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Hellmüller came out of the goal and Matthew Pierucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jesaja Mazuret was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Alonzo Hellmüller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthew Pierucci in the 98th minute. The Schlieren players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
