Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club 99's Thorben Campa in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Abel Grondin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SC Huttwil through an amazing save. Jo Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Club 99 booed when SC Huttwil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. LucaLucan Müller didn't get a good kick on the ball.
